The Chief Executive will act as a figurehead for the ILC, promoting the aims and objectives of the centre. They will provide the public face for campaigns and build relationships with stakeholders in politics, the media and business. They will play a key role in providing leadership to the staff and report to the Trustees where appropriate.
For more details please contact us on 01380 871007 and ask for Sandra Harding or Henry Lumley.
Voluntary Communications Officer
Approx 4 days a month
The Communications Officer will lead the promotion of the centre, publicising its role and facilities both directly with statutory bodies, users, groups and healthcare professionals as well as through the media and in particular the website. They will also provide support and advice to the existing team to develop and improve a communications strategy. For more details please contact us on 01380 871007 and ask for Sandra Harding or Henry Lumley.
Our AGM on Tuesday 17th October was a huge success, and Ian Wadley from Julia’s House Children’s Hospice gave a very moving talk that we’re sure will have touched the hearts of all our guests. The AGM also saw the formal retirement of our Chairman Brian from the ILC Management Committee, and we saw fit to mark the occasion with a number of gifts, including a gorgeous bouquet of flowers from Blooms floral empourium for his lovely wife Marjory.
